Do I have a personal injury compensation claim?
Every claim is different. If you contact the firm free of charge you will speak directly to a friendly, specialist personal injury claim solicitor. There will be no commitment. You will be given a clear idea quickly of whether the claim is likely to succeed.
Don’ t be put off calling even if you feel that you were to blame in whole or part. For example a man who loses a finger after accidentally putting it in a machine while cleaning it when it is still working. Was it his legally fault? It’s unlikely to have been, if the employer failed in his duty to guard it and make the cleaning job safe against mishaps.
Will you take anything from my accident compensation?
No. To find out more see legal costs.
How much will it cost me to make a personal injury claim?
You will receive 100% of your compensation.
Your case can be funded either through a no win no fee agreement or legal expenses insurance policy if you already have one. The latter could be part of your car or household insurance.
A no win no fee agreement will provide that:
- If you win your legal costs will be recovered from the other party (more likely their insurers) and this firm will not ask you for any which we do not recover
- if you lose you pay this firm nothing and we will have arranged insurance(at no cost to you) to cover any legal costs to be paid to the other party
You will not be asked to cover the cost of anything, for example medical reports, insurance premiums, as the case goes along.
How much is my compensation claim worth?
You are entitled to claim compensation the injury itself and any financial loss or expenses you would not have had but for the injury.
Every case is different. You will be give an idea of what you could expect to recover quickly as soon as possible.
This firm won’t take anything off your compensation to meet our costs.
Get in touch even if you think your personal injury is minor. We are happy to assist in accident and illness claims large and small.
Will I have to go to court?
This is very unlikely. Less than 2% of all personal injury claims end up in front of a judge. As personal injury claim solicitors we can usually tell you early on if that is likely.
Court proceedings can be started promptly where needed but only if you wisth to do that.
How long will it take before I am paid compensation?
As a specialist personal injury solicitors practice the firm gets on with claims. Each case is different.
Get in touch and get a clear idea of how long your claim would be likely to take.
You will never be advised to agree a final figure for compensation before you are ready, as can happen with some advisers. Once a figure has been agreed you can never ask for more. If your claim is settled too early you may be under-compensated. Your needs come first.
Will getting compensation affect my welfare benefits?
The good news is that if handled properly getting a compensation payment need not affect your welfare benefits;
Are there other ways to pay for my costs than no win no fee?
Yes. For example you might have Trade Union support or insurance for legal costs on your household insurance to help you make a compensation claim.
How do know I will get good service?
